The above banner hang was around the time of the First International Temperate Forest Conference and the founding of the Native Forest Network.  The functionaries inside Forestry Commission Tasmania were extremely afraid of the protesters and vacated the building for the day.  There is more to this story, so please stay turned for Struggles for Justice: late 1980′s to late 90′s – coming soon sometime this spring.
